The Commerce Commission, have been given a warning to real Estate agents who trick house buyers by advertising false low prices to stop the practice or face legal proceedings, the commission is bringing court action against one agent next month, for them to show that they are serious.

The government said today, that the pace of new home and apartment construction in January soared to its highest level in more than three decades as unseasonably warm weather allowed builders to break ground on more projects than expected.

The Washington Center for Real Estate Research at Washington State University says, Despite rising prices, higher mortgage rates, declining affordability and fears that a "housing bubble" may be about to burst, the number of homes sold in Washington continued to rise in the final quarter of last year.
